PhelpsForward aids first generation college women who are interested in pursuing careers in the financial services industry within the areas of finance or technology. We help these women better understand: who they are, what specific work excites them, which careers facilitate that work and the skill sets they must acquire to succeed in their careers. We then ascertain what finance and tech internships or jobs best suit their interests, skills and income needs at each stage of their career.

Prior to interviewing with any employer, college freshman who have been selected to join Phelps Forward due to their qualifications and interests go through an intensive three year +, career development program beginning Freshman year. This program is designed to lead them toward jobs for which they are well suited in terms of background, personality, interests, ideal work environment, learning and work styles, as well as their skill sets and experience.

At the current time we accept applications Freshman or Sophomore year, and, in limited cases, later in college. PF’s college program typically begins your Freshman.
